Windsor/Essex Fidget Makers

Do you want to help craft Fidget Aprons for people experiencing dementia and other dementia-related illnesses?

Fidget aprons can be thought of as a form of sensory stimulation, which also includes touch therapy, similar to music therapy or aromatherapy. Research shows that sensory stimulation can decrease anxiety for people living with dementia.

We are looking for volunteers to support the creation of fidget aprons, which includes collecting materials,  styling and sewing aprons with zippers, buttons, pockets, different material textures, lacing and buttons.

Once completed, these aprons will be donated back to the community, at no cost, to various organizations to serve those who can benefit from our apron creations!

Do you want to be part of the Windsor/Essex Fidget Makers Volunteer Group?

We need people who can cut material, sew, help organize supplies, etc.

Please submit your information, if you are interested in supporting this group of fidget makers!
